Ushuaia at last

Wednesday 11 March 2020

The ship docked in Ushuaia early this morning. Walked around the town after depositing luggage at my hotel. A port city with major focus on tourism it was easy to navigate.

The backdrop of the Martial range to the north made going just two block a climb to get to the hotel, however most places in town were along the flat main street, (Avienda San Martin) running along or near the waterfront. The place has a tourist feel with going over the top or feeling like prey for the shopowners. It was approachable and friendly.

Oh Yes, there is one of these:

View of Ushuaia from my bedroom
And the food and beer were delightful
This guy just sat on the railing at sunset - pining for the fjords?
